The threading is easy as the cap on the top is removable and the oval rod is provided for laying in the ends. The middle portion of the drawing shows the exclusive dent spacing effect supplied on every hook reed. This ensures a stiff reed while running and an evenly spaced comb when laying in. The hooks are precision formed and highly polished to handle the finest yarn. All parts are rust-proofed. Mind that all hooks must always face the take-up beam.
It is recommended to use the single hook reed in all operations with an even number of beams. The double hook reed has a similar construction, but the hook arrangement is changed to allow leasing of odd numbers of section beams. When ordering a double hook type, be sure the thread arrangement illustrated is applicable to your work.
