Higher densities
There is an increasing market demand for finer fabrics that require the very best heddles. Besides the need for the smoothest heddle polish for the most gentle yarn treatment, the market demand for finer fabrics also implies the need for attaining higher densities. Steel Heddle has therefore developed a new stainless steel heddle with 33% less thickness: the 0.20 mm heddle.
The 0.20 mm heddle is also available with the well known Jet Eye® feature. This patented Steel Heddle feature makes it possible to use up to 28 heddles per cm, or 72 heddles per inch. The table below gives an overview of the possible densities.
Lower weight
