The weaving of heavy fabrics such as forming, wet and dryer felts for the paper industry as well as other heavy industrial fabrics requires a heavy duty harness frame. Steel Heddle enjoys already an excellent reputation in the engineering and production of such section frames.
To meet the increasing demands of forming fabrics in the paper industry, looms are recently developed with up to 56 harness frame capability. This many harness frames requires a narrow pitch while still keeping a very ridgid frame. Therefore, Steel Heddle has developed in close coordination between loom makers and customers the new 10 mm pitch design.
