Steel Heddle Twin Wire Heddles are designed in a specific slender shape, which allows a clear overview and an easier and smoother passing through of the warp yarn. It makes it possible to keep a good efficiency of the loom when using a lot of heddles on the frame.
The smaller weight of the heddle (less than half the weight of flat heddles) causes less wear on the frames and therefore lower running costs. This advantage is even bigger on high speed weaving machines.
The greatest advantage of Twin Wire heddles is perhaps its eyelet. This part has no sharp edges, which reduces the friction on the warp yarn and minimizes breakages. The hardening of the eyes gives the Twin Wires Heddles a longer lifespan.

Available types
Twin wires can be produced with C-, J- or O-endloop and endloops for all jacquard harnesses. Typical wire diameters range from 0.30 to 1.10 mm.
