Multi hole versus single hole

The blowing angle of multi hole relay nozzles is very stable at different pressure levels. This is very useful for style changes that require different relay nozzle pressures settings. The single hole nozzles need to be adjusted by hand while multi hole nozzles keep their blowing angle stable and do not need any adjustment or fine tuning.

Because the multi hole patterns allows a more efficient air stream, multi-hole nozzles deliver a better performance over single hole nozzles, giving up to 15% higher yarn speed for same air consumption. Single hole nozzles are recommended in case of a dusty environment or low air quality, because small dust particles could block the smaller holes of a multi-hole nozzle. Single hole nozzles will not need to be cleaned as often as multi-hole types.
